Target to Close in Easton

Target will be closing it's brand new Easton store this spring. Employees were notified when picking up their last check.

    We have talked to several employees at the Easton Target and they confirmed they were told this when they picked up there last check.

    Also, we have talked to several businesses around Talbot County. They have confirmed that many Target employees have come in filling out applications.

    The mood in Talbot County is Target is too expensive. Word has also gotten out that the Cambridge Wal-Mart is expanding to a Grocery Store. Since Target didn't add the grocery to the Easton Target, everyone still goes to Giant and Wal-Mart is right there for convenience.

    Talbot County is being hit hard as 3 major businesses now have closed or will be closing.
